Terms of Service Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PartYard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use this platform. PartYard operates strictly as an online venue connecting professional vehicle breakers with buyers.

2. Marketplace Status & No Responsibility for Transactions

PartYard is a technology platform only. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not inspect, guarantee, warrant, or endorse any vehicle parts, components, or salvage listed on the platform. All purchases, sales, warranties, and disputes are strictly between the buyer and the professional breaker.

3. Limitation of Liability & Complete Exoneration

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, PartYard, its directors, employees, and agents shall have zero liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:

• The use, misuse, failure, or installation of any vehicle part purchased through the platform.
• The roadworthiness, legality, description accuracy, or safety of any items listed by professional sellers.
• Any financial loss, business interruption, or loss of profits incurred by users or sellers.
• Any transaction disputes, fraudulent actions, or failure to deliver items by third-party users.

4. Professional Breaker Obligations & Verification

Professional sellers warrant that they are licensed vehicle dismantlers, salvage yards, or legitimate automotive traders operating in compliance with UK law. Sellers assume total legal and environmental responsibility for all parts sold, including scrap metal regulations, hazardous waste disposal, and accurate part grading.

5. Fees, Subscriptions, and Stripe Payouts

Sellers agree to pay the standard £29.99 monthly subscription fee and a 7% platform commission per transaction. Payouts are processed securely via Stripe. PartYard disclaims all liability for payment processing delays, banking errors, or account suspensions initiated by Stripe.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.
